An exceptional all-through SEND school in Harrow is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

About the Role
You will support pupils with a wide range of learning, communication, sensory, and physical needs. Every day will be varied, and you’ll play an important part in helping students access learning, build independence, and develop confidence.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff, you will provide consistent and compassionate support through 1:1 work, small groups, classroom assistance, and engagement in academic and therapeutic activities.
Preferable experience includes:
• Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or developmental delays
• Working with children or young people with communication or social interaction needs
• Supporting pupils with sensory or physical needs
• Managing emotional regulation or challenging behaviour
• Using alternative communication methods or visual aids
• Assisting with personal care or daily routines where needed
Personal care may form part of the role.
Requirements
• Relevant SEND experience is essential
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
