Teaching Assistant - SEMH - KS1/ Primary - Manchester - Trafford - Role: SEND TA Jobs
Axcis Education is proud to be working with an excellent primary school in the Manchester area that is currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to support a student on a 1:1 until the end of the academic year.
The teaching assistant will have experience supporting primary aged pupils on a 1:1 basis. An understanding of supporting students with social, emotional, mental health needs is also an essential aspect of this role. An ability to build a strong rapport with students; as well as behaviour management/ de-escalation techniques is also desired of the teaching assistant.
The primary school is based in East Manchester, where strong senior leaders have a clear vision for the school's development. All pupils feel safe and are well catered for throughout the school with clear SEND provision and intervention. This school is well accessible by both car and the use of public transport.
This role is full-time and would begin after the May half-term and would run until the end of the academic year. The school are currently arranging trial days for appropriate teaching assistants with the right experience, so if you have experience supporting primary aged pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and you are free full-time, then get in touch today.
