Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) - Chorley
JOB LOCATION:

Axcis Education are currently looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with a male pupil in a secondary PRU setting in Chorley. This is a full time role and is due to start ASAP. It is essential the applicant: - has previous experience working within a similar setting - has experience working with children with SEMH, SEBD and challenging behaviour - is confident and able to remain calm in certain situations Previously, successful candidates have included those with a background in sports and outdoor education, as well as secondary-age SEND experience. Additional training in de-escalation such as Team-Teach would be ideal but is not essential and can be provided free of charge by Axcis. You will need to hold an up to date DBS certificate, or have one in process, and be able to provide a detailed work history with contactable references to be considered for this role.
