Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Flexible working - Bristol
Full Time
Axcis Education is looking for teaching assistants for day-to-day cover working in a lovely mainstream secondary school on the outskirts of Bristol, Hanham area. The right individual will be looking for a flexible and varied work pattern and be available to work short term roles at short notice. The ideal candidate will be a driver with access to their own vehicle and be able to travel to a number of schools across Bristol. We currently work with both mainstream and special schools providing effective, experienced staff to support students with SEND. The majority of these day-to-day roles are based at a large secondary mainstream school that supports students with Speech and Language difficulties and ASD from the ages of 11 - 18. The school works to the traditional curriculum and has been praised for its engaging teaching methods. The school pay £75/day for a 08:30 - 16:00 shift equalling a very competitive hourly rate. Parking is available onsite and the school will regularly have opportunities for debriefs following incidents or instances that are not usually part of the working day. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Suzie Sage at Axcis Education on 0117 373 6127.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.

Axcis Education is an employment agency offering temporary supply work for daily, short-term and long-term assignments in addition to permanent positions.
