Axcis are currently working with a wonderful Primary school in the Redcliffe area, who is looking for a special education needs and disabilities (SEND) teaching assistant looking for a new and exciting role to start in March.
The role will include working on a 1:1 basis with a young male student with ADHD and challenging behaviour and the ideal candidate will have a sporty background s the role will include often working outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate will:
" Be resilient and able to deal with challenging and sometimes confrontational situations.
" Have a calm nature and ability to de-escalate situations.
" You will need to be adaptable, flexible and able to build a strong relationship with the child you are working with.
" Have an understanding of working with young people with special education needs and disabilities and have a real desire to make a difference.
