JOB TITLE / ROLE:
Support Workers needed for Teaching Assistant work- Chepstow - Monmouthshire - Role: SEND TA Jobs
We work with a variety of education settings around Chepstowr who are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience in supporting people within health and social care settings. We only want to hear from highly experienced people who have at least three years experience working as a support worker. You will be supporting pupils with very complex needs so if you are experienced in doing personal care, administering medication, manual handling (hoists), peg feeding, safeguarding and supporting people in a person centred way and would like to work in a school we would love to hear from you.
Working in supply means you can quickly improve your skill set and work with groups of people that you might not have had the opportunity to work with before. We can help you to make the transition from adults to children and can offer you regular work. We get client requests for short and long term positions in mainstream, special needs schools, pupil referral units and alternative provisions and a lot of the work is 8:30-3:30pm weekdays.
There are also various other shifts in residential and alternative provisions including weekends. Your professional consultant will be there to guide and support you through the process and a lot of our staff have worked within school settings or health and social care roles themselves and understand the work you will be doing.
You will be offered training to support you with your own professional development including CPD training sessions on Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Behaviour Management and Non-verbal Communication, to name but a few. We value our teachers and support staff and, the hard work and professionalism they put in on a daily basis. This is why we always offer competitive rates of pay to ensure that your skills and experience are recognised. If this sounds like something you would be interested then please do get in touch, we are waiting to answer your call.
This is a temporary position.
