Support worker/outreach worker needed in Kingswood ASAP - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Axcis are currently seeking a support worker for a charity based provision who cater for young people who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. The setting is based in Kingswood however, due to the outreach nature of the role, you will be expected to travel to different parts of Bristol.
The role involves supporting young people in an educational setting and in the community.
The successful candidate will have:
- A full driver's licence, access to their own car and be willing to take out business insurance. Part of the role involves outreach work where you will be expected to take the young people out in to the community
- Experience of working with challenging young people and youth work
- A good standard of education and some knowledge of the secondary curriculum
- A DBS check on the online update service would also be advantageous
This role is to start ASAP and will be on a temp to perm basis.
