JOB WORKING HOURS:
Axcis are working with a large, all-through school near Exeter Airport to recruit experienced, full-time SEND Teaching Assistants for 5 days work per week on an on-going temporary basis.
This purpose built campus has an Ofsted Good rating and offer fantastic learning facilities to early years, primary and secondary age pupils. The school has a very nurturing culture and amongst the several hundred pupils, many have additional learning needs as a result of having ASD, ADHD, SpLD and SEMH.
This role is to support on the basis of 1-1 or small group support for KS1 or KS2 pupils with additional learning needs. Duties will include preparing and supervising activities, assisting the Teacher with observations and written reports and ensuring safeguarding.
You may be required to carry out intimate care.
The school has excellent resources in place and you will be part of a very compassionate SEND team
This role is for 5 days per week, 8.30am to 3.15pm. The pay is £65 to £75 per day.
It is essential that suitable candidates have previous experience of working with SEND pupils in an education setting with an engaging and caring approach.
