Job Title: SEND Teacher needed for September for PRU in Birmingham City Centre!
I am currently working with an all through PRU school located in the heart of Birmingham's city centre. This school mostly caters for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and pupils range from 5 years to 11 years old. They are looking for a SEND Teacher to join their team on a temp basis with specific experience in working with challenging behaviour either with a primary background. Job details: - Full time hours (8.20am - 3.30pm) - Temp position (Ongoing) - Primary (KS1 and KS2) - Start Date ASAP - Full curriculum What you need to apply: - Experience with challenging behaviour is a must - You must have worked in a school or care setting previously - Current DBS (Or be willing to obtain one) This school is located in Central Birmingham with plenty of eateries and attractions such as the botanical gardens, cineworld and national sea life centre close by to unwind after a busy day at work. It is also easily accessible via public transport if you don't drive. Other benefits include working with a great team of staff who enjoy regular team building activities and nights out and also extra training courses available to staff who are interested on building in their work experience. This is a temporary position. If you are interested, then please contact Carys Thomas at Axcis Education on 0121 516 3024.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
