Secondary Intervention Support Worker - Merseyside - Role: SEN TA Jobs
A mainstream secondary school in Liverpool is looking to take on an experienced Intervention Support Worker who is able to lead interventions across school with pupils below expectation in attainment.
Your role will involve taking pupils out of class in order to support them in core subjects with areas they are identified as struggling with. Working with class teachers, you will identify areas in which they are behind their class average and work with them to raise their attainment.
This position is one of a HLTA, and open to HLTAs, Cover Supervisors, unqualified Teachers and Teachers looking for a step back from class teaching.
You ideally will have experience in this type of role and definitely have experience in a secondary setting. You must also have Grade C or above in Science, English and Maths GCSE, or equivalent.
The position is to start ASAP and is ongoing, full-time.
