SEBD Support Worker | Merseyside | SEN TA Jobs
An Alternative Provision in St Helens is looking for a strong, experienced support worker to provide support across the setting on an ongoing basis.
Due to high volumes of sickness they're looking to take on regular bank staff who will work week on week to cover various roles and gaps in the school support staff.
The setting is for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schools or other SEND settings. Some pupils have the end goal of returning to school whereas others will stay for the duration of their education.
You must have experience with challenging behaviour, either in a mainstream or specialist setting, and be confident working with secondary aged pupils.
If you are interested, then please contact Lauren Griffiths at Axcis Education on 0151 448 2810.
Axcis is an equal opportunities employer. The company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
