JOB TITLE / ROLE:
Psychology graduates sought for teaching assistant roles in Bristol - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Recent psychology graduates in Bristol are invited to apply for work supporting children with additional learning needs. Pupils in our client schools have a wide variety of SEND, including autism, Aspergers, Downs Syndrome, attachment disorder, ADHD, ODD, and many more (and often several at once).
Teaching assistants / learning support assistants must be positive and proactive, assiduous, committed, understanding, hugely resilient, and passionate about learning.
As well as working under the direction of the class teacher, TAs may be required to assist with school trips, help with personal care, assist with lunchtime duties, and help prepare resources, maintain a safe and positive learning environment, attend meetings with SENCo and liaise with key staff as required.
TA positions allow for flexible working and particularly suit those looking for part-time or term-time-only work. Long-term positions are also available and we would be delighted to speak to anyone wishing to find out what will suit them best.
