Job Title: Primary School Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working with a 2 form entry mainstream primary school based in Oldham who are seeking to appoint an experienced complex needs teaching assistant. Your role will be to support a variety of children with complex needs; this may include some elements of personal care due to physical disabilities. SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS: -Someone who has experience in moving and handling -It is essential that you have classroom based experience -Someone who is passionate about working with children -A DBS which is on the update service or be willing to process a new one -You must be available full time, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 3:45pm -It would be advantageous if you have had some epilepsy training YOU WILL RECEIVE: - Excellent and highly competitive rates of pay - Really caring and supportive colleagues and senior leadership team - Free CPD training opportunities - The opportunity for future career progression - Access to a free private doctor - Access to a free private counsellor - Discounts at local high-street retail outlets, supermarkets and leisure facilities. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
