We have an SEND teaching assistant job for a teaching assistant with experience of working with PMLD pupils.
Axcis education is currently looking for a reliable teaching assistant with SEND PMLD experience to work in a special school that is located in the Ealing area (West London). The successful candidate will provide classroom support to pupils with PMLD. All applicants must be willing to assist with personal care.
This role will start immediately and you will be working the hours of 8:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday term time only. For the right candidate this position could be available for the duration of the 2020 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teaching assistant who wants to excel in their career and learn different types and methods of teaching.
Previous experience of working with PMLD is a requirement. Experience with working with PMLD pupils would be an advantage as would manual handling training.
You will be provided with ongoing training throughout your role. The successful applicant will be required to have an enhanced DBS check.
