Axcis are looking for a PMLD Teacher for a primary school based in Feltham.
Are you looking for your next SEND Teaching post? Do you have a driving passion to support children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?
This brand new school boasts state of the art facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, soft play room and multiple outdoor spaces. This, alongside an senior leadership team that have been in the school for 19 years makes this role one not to miss!
You will be starting at the school in September and would be required to manage all aspects of the teaching role including planning, assessment and clasroom management. You will be well supprted with a high ratio of support in your classroom.
The ideal teacher would have direct experience within a PMLD setting and would be confident in delivering lessons to a variety of students under with ASD and PMLD.
PMLD experience would be a plus however candidates who lack SEND experience but have some form of care work background or a genuine interest in embarking on a career within SEND would also be ideal.
If you can demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence and versatility whilst supporting those with additional needs then this is the role for you. You will also need to be adaptable, tailoring your day to day techniques to suit the unique needs within your new classroom.
