Parenting Support Workers Required - Greater Manchester - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Here at Axcis we have a number of roles for Parenting Support Workers across the Manchester area.
Your Role: As a Parenting Support Worker you will be responsible for the therapeutic parenting of Children who have SEND's, more specifically those with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. Experience in this area is vital as the right applicant will be taking on a vocation and constancy along with the ability to build relationships is vital. You must hold a clean drivers licence and have use of a vehicle as you will be expected to drive service users to appointments and meetings as part of this role.
Positions: My client is looking for people to fill roles at both senior and entry level support worker, the opportunity for career progression is huge and the person with the right attitude and skills could find themselves carving out a highly successful, highly profitable career.
The Hours: My client runs a number of residential settings across Greater Manchester, each setting has its own varying shift patterns on a 5 over 7 basis, meaning, as is normal for residential support, you will be contracted to work some weekends, The setting also operates a sleep-in rota, for which you will be paid additionally on top of your annual salary
Training: If you have previous residential training that ,of course, would be an advantage, but you will receive full Therapeutic Parenting Training once you begin in your job role.
Please note these roles are permanent positions to start ASAP
Criteria; Drivers Licence and Car
Able to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
Willing to commit to a long term career
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
