Job Title: Learning Support Assistant, Alternative Provision
Do you have a passion for supporting young people who have difficulty accessing mainstream schooling and education?
If you have experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours, whether this be from residential, support or school-based school support roles – we want to hear from you!
We are looking for several full-time, long-term learning support assistants in the Redditch and surrounding areas who are looking for the next step in their career.
You will be working as part of a wider support staff team, which has been carefully built up over a prolonged period to create a teamwork-ethic and a real desire to create the best possible outcomes for students.
The successful applicant will need to be resilient, determined, and passionate about making the difference in helping local young people find routes forward to help them in both their educational and personal development.
You will be supported from day one in-role with a partnering LSA who will make the transition in school as seamless as possible to help you settle who have come through the same route in-school through us at Axcis Education. This will be invaluable to help you find your feet, understand the setup and be able to be confident in your role.
You will be working Monday to Friday, term-time only on a long-term basis with the potential for a permanent contract. You will be expected to work 08:30 until 15:35.
This role will be paid from a daily rate starting from £95.29, which can increase dependent on experience & relevant qualifications.
