Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Salary: £90-100 per day Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-time Job Description: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant educational team in Wandsworth, London. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent academic record, strong communication skills, and a passion for contributing to the intellectual and social development of students. Responsibilities Include: • Providing academic support to the lead teacher by assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons. • Working with small groups or on a one-on-one basis to reinforce learning and aid understanding of the curriculum. • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the lead teacher. • Helping manage classroom resources and ensuring equipment is ready for lessons. • Facilitating a range of educational activities to enhance student engagement. • Supporting students with special education needs by employing tailored learning strategies. • Encouraging students to develop self-confidence and independence. Candidate Requirements: • A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university (recent graduates are encouraged to apply). • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English. • Experience working with children or in a teaching environment (desirable but not essential). • Strong organisational and time-management skills. • A proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. • A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to learn new teaching methodologies.
