Are you a dedicated SEND practitioner looking for a new challenge? Experienced TA needed immediately in a mainstream secondary school in Bridgwater working 1-1 with a Y8 child with challenging behaviour and SEMH.
This is a great opportunity to join large school with brilliant leadership and structure. The school has an excellent Ofsted rating and it's popularity amongst parents, children and staff is clear. The school has excellent parking facilities and links to local public transport.
The position is general KS3 in-class support - you will be working 1-1 with the child and will need to be able to establish a good working relationship with them very quickly. The student is at risk of exclusion and presents with very challenging behaviour so resilience is a must. The role is full time, starts in September and will run till the end of academic year.
The right candidate will be an inventive and positive TA who has a proactive attitude and will be calm and unfazed by difficult situations. You will be a positive role model and will have a chance to make a real difference to a child's life.
