Testimonials from Teachers

Dear Susanna,

Thanks for the email. This is just to let you know that I concur with everything in it, and I would also like to take the opportunity to thank you, Helen and Matt for the work that you have done on my behalf.

I've been with a few agencies in the past and seldom have I come across such a bunch of helpful and encouraging people...this is a refreshing change and I have been very happy with all the interactions that have taken place so far.

On the issue of showing confidence...I once turned up at a secondary school in Wiltshire and found them expecting me to be a French teacher! I have very little French, but I managed the three weeks cover they needed without incurring any suspicion whatsoever! Not that I would want to repeat that one.

Best wishes,

Max

Dear Emily and Sara

I would like to thank you both from the bottom of my heart for the work you have found me over the past school year. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had such constant work in lovely schools, and this is down to you both. Axcis has been very flexible and understanding with me having to take days off for appointments etc. The fact that I received a birthday card from Axcis is testament to the fact that it is a company that cares about it's employees. Without you I would not have gained the knowledge and experience that has helped me win a full-time maternity post.

Many thanks,

Francesca

Hello Donna

I have had a brilliant week, lots of laughing, smiling and learning. The class are willing and eager to join in with the lessons and they are getting along well amoungst themselves, language barriers do not become a problem at the moment as the pupils seem to have the realisation that everyone is trying their best and allowences need to be made. All the staff either from One Education or other axcisarians are easy getting along with and we are all pitching in as much as we can to make this venture successful.

Speak to you soon.

Hope you are fit and well.

Paul

Hi Justin,

I have to say, my impression of recruitment agents used to be extremely negative, but you have changed that! Regardless of whether the application is successful or not, I appreciate how you have gone out of your way to explain the benefits and the negatives, how you have taken care of my concerns and not just the employer's, and kept me in the loop in the process.

I have taught in London for over a year now and have loved every minute!

I signed up with Axcis before leaving Australia and had a block of work three days after landing in the UK. Axcis took the stress and worry out of finding work, especially when I was so far away from home.

The days can be challenging but knowing I had a supporting agency to talk to at the end of each day was comforting.

The agency staff are familar with the schools they send you to and know what it's like to have a classroom of children with high demamnds and daily challenges.

Working in the UK isn't a walk in the park, but the feeling you get when you know you have made a difference in the life of a child, makes it all worth while.

Sophie

Hello Willem,

Firstly, let me say that I was incredibly impressed with your very prompt and unbelievably thorough response. If I previously thought that it was pleasant to deal with you, I can now unabashedly declare that it has been an absolute pleasure to interact with such a professional, caring, thoughtful and wonderfully understanding recruiter. So thank you yet again, for the way you have dealt with me since we first began exchanging messages . . .

Kind regards,

Ryan

Hi Megan,

I appreciated your professionalism and personal contact to help me make the transition to the UK so smoothly.
Keep up the good work as I know you will.

Glenn

Megan,

Thank you so much for all of your help.  It made a real difference to my arrival here in a foreign country.

Laura

Hi Jean!

It was really nice to meet you and Megan today. You are by far the best agency I have visited.

Hope to speak to you soon.

Pedro

Dear Jean,

All is going brilliantly - I am enjoying it immensely, by far the most interesting, fun and engagingly challenging work experience I have ever had. All the staff have been really friendly and helpful in getting me settled in and building relationships with the children is exciting! Learning new skills and taking things day-by-day, all most rewarding thus far.

Thank you again for your help, advice and interest and I look forward to speaking to you sometime in the near future.

All the best,

Sandy

Hey Anna!!

Just wanted to let you know that I was able to secure some work with my old school for the next few weeks, so...things at CEB and Alford will be finishing up this week!!

I just wanted to say the hugest (am I an english teacher??!!) thank you for everything. You've definitely gone above and beyond the call of duty and have just been so incredibly lovely every single time I hassled you with ANY inquiry.

Thank you, thank you, thank you - I truly appreciate your efforts, and the way you listened and responded to all requests, always trying your upmost to find things that are suitable and allowing the decision to come about.

You have a great manner with people and I wish you all the best in the future.

If there is a contact of a 'higher power' I can pass on some flattering words to about you then please let me know the address!!
Thanks again and I'll speak to you soon... about my pay I'm sure ;)

El xoxo

Hi Jean,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your support this year - you have been wonderful!

I'm off to South America for a few weeks and then heading back to Oz to start work at the end of Jan. Working at with you was great - it really helped to renew my enthusiasm for special ed (I had started to get frustrated with the system at home which was a big part of the reason I wanted to work over here again!) and Kay has been wonderfully supportive with the links she has with the department of education back home.

At this stage I'm returning to the school I left and crossing my fingers that I can win a position I have heard about that begins in 2010. I was hoping to start in a new position in Jan but this was unfortunately not to be due to a big resturcture that happened across our district - no coordinator/assistant principal jobs were advertised!

Thanks again for everything Jean, I have really appreciated all of your help and will be in touch if I end up back over here again ;)

I hope you have a fabulous Christmas and get the chance to relax over the break (if you get one!)

Best wishes,

Catherine

Hi Emily!

Since being in London, and since signing up with Axcis, you have been by far the best Agency to work for.
Other agencies I have been with haven't understood my needs when it comes to work.

Matt

Dear Emily,

Just a quick email to say thank you for all your work during my year at Box hill which i know has not always been smooth and also for securing Oakfield.

Hope you have a pleasant summer and are going somewhere dry!

Warm regards
Ahi

Hi Emily,

I have a full-time job now, outside of teaching, and I would like to thank Axcis as well for your friendliness, professionalism, and help in securing me work when needed.

Have a lovely Summer. My husband and I have just come back from Italy which was wonderful!

Kind regards
Tania

Hi Willem,

Thanks for the message and the complimentary notes. I am also impressed with Axcis's responsiveness and professionalism.

My notice period is two months, plus or minus a few days, depending on the timing of a firm offer.

Thanks again, and I am well familiar with Ramadhan effects.

Best Regards,

Mahmoud

Ms Friel,

Just a quick note to thank you for the very reassuring and professional advice offered during the interview yesterday. I am very grateful for your help at this difficult time of my career and look forward to whatever you can offer me by means of opportunities in connection with the beginning of the new academic year.

Kindly convey my gratitude to your colleague who spoke to me prior to our interview - she was also very helpful and professional.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Babz

Hi Jean,

Thank you for your response to my enquiries.

I am returning to New Zealand in early November but wanted to say a big thank you for all the support Axcis has given to me whilst I worked in London.

Kind regards,

Sonia

Hi Sarah,

Just a quick email to thank you and Lisa again. I really enjoyed meeting face to face and chatting through all the options for work. I really appreciate the honesty and friendly manner which you both have shown toward me and it is a load off my mind knowing that you are both looking for options that will best suit me. You guys have been great! I may have a friend coming over from australia early next year so i will be telling her that Axcis should be the first agency she contacts. Look forward to chatting with you soon.

Regards,

Jason

Hi Jean!

I think it went well. I really like the profile of the school and the conversation with Mr. *****. We made arrangements to visit the school and possibly shadow a teacher on Mon the 7th of Feb.  If both sides are satisfied I can start as soon as the Tuesday. Mr. ****** was really lovely.  Looking forward to meeting all of you. So far I have had a very pleasant experience dealing with your Agency.  Thank you so much.  It does put me at ease to know I have competent and efficient people working to help me find the right position.  Well done Jean.  Please pass on my kudos to Lisa as well, and Sarah. Have a good weekend.

Regards,

Renée

Thank you Lisa,

I received your voicemail. I really appreciate all the chasing you have done for me! I know I say this every time I email, but really you are a star!! Have a lovely evening.

Katherine

Dear Lisa

In my country, we say a person who keeps his or her word has reserved her place in heaven. We then proceed to say, may the spirits keep you far away from hot fires. In essence, we will be wishing that person long life, full of happiness.

When I left home in December, I was not sure if what I was doing was the right thing. All I knew was it had to be done, not only for my children but for myself esteem.

I don't wish to bore you with my story but I want you to know that you are blessed. Thank you very much for having faith in me. You have given me life and I hope the next time you have a bad day, just remember that there is a Zimbabwean teacher who wishes you well in all you do. Maybe one day I will be able to return your kindness. For now, I can only promise you that I will work hard and give to education and children of England the best a born, ambitious and inspired teacher can give.

Ciao!!

Norma

Sarah and Lisa!

Morning from New Zealand. Margaret rang me last night with great news - I'm on my way to [Name of School]. I'm really excited about this and I have you two to thank. Thanks for setting up the initial meeting Lisa - it has all fallen into place and feels right. The family is thrilled and we'll be really busy with our plans up to the end of August. Thanks so much. Wahoo for Axcis!!
