SEBD - Social Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

Children with SEBD cover the range of ability but generally behave unusually or in an extreme fashion in a variety of social, personal, emotional or physical circumstances.  They can appear depressed or withdrawn, be verbally or physically aggressive, destructive or violent. They may be unable to accept direction or interact with other people and quickly become frustrated. These pupils may find themselves excluded from school and may be offered a place in a PRU.
