Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant (Birmingham - Midlands)

 

Axcis Education is looking to appoint a Trainee/Graduate Recruitment Consultant in our Midlands office in Birmingham.

 

This role would be ideal for:

 

  • someone with knowledge/background in cold calling/sales or,
  • someone with knowledge/background in special educational needs (SEN) / the education sector (this includes Teaching Assistants, candidates who have previously worked in school environments, etc) or,
  • a university graduate with a keen interest in sales and earning commission as well as a good basic salary. 

 

You will be expected to build your business using a combination of sales calls, client visits and marketing, and will have clear and achievable targets to work towards.

 

In this role you will be responsible for sourcing top quality candidates for Special Needs roles in your area, and will need to be personable and approachable in order to develop good rapport with candidates and contacts within schools.

 

In addition to your competitive base salary, you will also start earning personal commission immediately, and will be eligible for additional bonuses based on performance from your second year of employment.

 

Axcis Education is looking for a driven and versatile person who works well in a team, but is also able to self-motivate.  You would be working as part of a fun, friendly and supportive team and it is essential that you are the right person to continue this well balanced atmosphere.

 

To be successful in the role of a recruitment consultant means being able to work to deadlines, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and paying attention to detail while displaying the ability to listen and act effectively.  You will need to be within easy travelling distance of Concorde House, Solihull, Birmingham, and also have a full driving licence due to regular 7am starts, and visits out to client schools. You must also have excellent written and spoken English skills.
