Account Manager Recruitment Role

 

Axcis Education is looking to appoint an Account Manager to service a group of established clients in the London area starting Jul/Aug 2012.

 

This role would be ideal for:

 

  • someone with a background in recruitment
  • someone who would like to remain in the recruitment sector without having to do the 'new business' aspect of the recruitment role
  • someone with a background in special educational needs (SEN) / the education sector (this includes Teaching Assistants, candidates who have previously worked in school environments, etc.)

 

This roles is ideal for someone who has honed the skills needed to make a good recruitment consultant. A key part of your role will be to ensure you are maximising the value of the existing accounts by using a combination of service visits and marketing, in addition to dedicating yourself to building strong relationships with contacts at the schools. You will have clear and achievable targets to work towards.

 

A focal point of your role will be conducting candidate interviews, which will be necessary to maintain and grow the business you will be given. You will be responsible for sourcing top quality candidates for Special Educational Needs roles in your area, and will need to be personable and approachable in order to develop good rapport with candidates and contacts within schools.

 

In addition to your basic salary you will also earn commission and will be eligible for bonuses based on performance.

 

We are looking for a driven, versatile person who works well in a team, but is also able to self-motivate. You will be working as part of a fun, friendly and supportive team and it is essential that you are the right person to continue this well balanced atmosphere. You must have the ability to work to deadlines; thrive in a fast-paced environment; and possesss the sense of urgency necessary to succeed in a temp recruitment environment.

 

You will need to be within travelling of Oxford Circus dur to regular 7am starts, and must have excellent written and spoken English skills. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. You will be expected to do an acceptable amount of business development using a combination of sales calls, client visits and marketing, and will have clear and achievable targets to work towards. You will be responsible for sourcing top quality candidates for special needs roles in your area, and will need to be personable and approachable in order to develop good rapport with candidates and contacts within schools.

 

In addition to your competitive base salary you will start earning commission immediately, and will be eligible for bonuses based on performance.
