UK Postcodes

The current postcodes used in the UK have been around since 1974. Using them allows someone the narrow where you like down to about 20 residences or businesses.

When you first arrive you will often find people asking for your postcode first and then just the number of the house you live in as computer software they have will automatically fill in the rest.

As well as being useful for postal deliveries, postcodes are now used for far more things. It also makes it very easy to find a map of a specific location or directions between locations on websites such as Google maps

Visit the Google site and enter the Axcis postcode W1W 8BX and you will see our exact location.

When you are in London you can use this information on the Transport for London website - www.tfl.gov.uk where you can enter your closest Tube Station and our postcode to find directions. The journey planner allows you to select station, postcode, address or place of interest.
