We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a school on a full-time basis. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with special educational needs, supporting their learning and development both inside and outside the classroom. You will collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and valued. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs, including assisting with classroom activities, assignments, and assessments. • Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students. • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. • Support students with personal care and hygiene tasks, if required. • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative and supportive learning environment. • Contribute to the planning and delivery of educational activities and interventions aimed at promoting student progress and achievement. Requirements: • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable. • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special needs support are preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently under the direction of teaching staff. • Willingness to undergo relevant background checks and training as required.
