Teaching Assistant required to support KS4 students with Cerebral Palsy! - London - NW - Role: SEN TA Jobs
One of our outstanding secondary schools in Brent is, seeking a learning support assistant to support a male student in KS4 with Cerebral Palsy.
This role will be on a full-time basis from 19th February 2018 until at least July 2018, with interviews taking place immediately.
You will be required to support a student with cerebral palsy in year 9 on a 1-1 or group-work basis.
This teaching assistant position will be full time with a prompt start time at 8am.
There is also the opportunity for the right person to be taking on permanently.
Within the role you will have to work closely with the SENDCo, Principal, class teachers, your team and most importantly the student's parents.
This school welcomes applicants that don't have much experience but require teaching assistants that are ready to dive straight in with an exceptional can do flexible approach to the position, this role may also be suitable to teaching with EAL experience.
You must have great literacy skills and be hard-working and committed to the position for the full duration.

- Proven SEND Experience in a secondary school environment OR a willingness to gain experience.
- Able to provide a fun and interactive environment for the students.
- Experience supporting students with Cerebral palsy.
- Able to fully commit from 19th February 2018 till July 2018.
