Teaching Assistant for SEMH Alternative Provision - West Midlands - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Axcis Education are recruiting for a teaching assistant to start a full time role in Birmingham central. Our client is an alternative provision which caters for young people aged 9 to 19 all with social, emotional and mental health needs. Many of the young people have been excluded from school, are at risk of exclusion or have no school allocation.
Working within this school you will be responsible for supporting the young people to access learning from all aspects of the curriculum. The class sizes are small so outcomes are greater as well as good results in attendance and results.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who has experience of reaching the most hard to reach young people. You will have an understanding of young people with SEMH as well as the ability to read situations. This role is full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3pm and is to start January 2017.
