As an agency, we can off ad-hock and short term work, as well as longer term roles, which can often lead to permanent contracts. In the Taunton area in the past, we have recruited for the following roles:
" One to one teaching assistants for students with social, emotional, mental health needs
" Post 16 teaching assistant to provide personal care
" ASD specialist teaching assistant for a secondary resource base
"Maths teacher for an alternative provision
"Primary teacher for a PRU

Ideal candidates will have all or some of the following skills and experience:
"Experience or qualifications as a teaching assistant or teacher (QTS is desirable, however, this is not essential for many of our roles)
"Additional training on a SEND topic, such as autism awareness
Experience in the care sector, either with the elderly and those with SEND needs, experience of personal care is desirable, as are qualifications in manual handling, Team Teach or other behaviour management strategies, medical qualifications
"A DBS on the online update service is desirable, however, if you do not have one, Axcis are able to help
