Support staff needed for ASD care home in Gravesend ( Kent) – Temp work £10 to £12 per hour | Kent | SEN TA Jobs
JOB TITLE / ROLE:
Support staff needed for ASD care home in Gravesend ( Kent) – Temp work £10 to £12 per hour - Kent - Role: SEN TA Jobs
I am working with a Residential Home who provide care and support for up to seven adults on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
They provide a wide range of quality, personalised services for people on the Autism Spectrum and their families and carers in Kent. Autistic adults can pursue their passion in art, learn to live independently at home and be part of the local community with their bespoke support, and they can help families and carers to enjoy some time off.
The Care Home is in Gravesend ( 5 minute walk from the station). Whilst they have easy access to shops, cultural activities, sports, leisure, pubs and restaurants, they are also in easy reach of beautiful countryside including Shorne Wood Country Park and Gillingham Riverside Park.
The Home is a detached family home with an attractive garden on a pleasant road in a residential area. They have seven bedrooms, of which one is ensuite, and three bathrooms. Their large living room, dining room and modern kitchen gives them plenty of space, and they have an additional living room for activities and for welcoming visitors. They have adapted the Home to make it fully accessible to someone using a wheelchair.
They are looking for flexible Support Workers who can work from 8am to 3pm or 3pm to 10pm. The is temp work and shifts will be offered when they become available so this would be perfect for someone who is looking for day to day work around Gravesend.
You MUST have a Children and Adults DBS or an Adults DBS that is on the update service. If not you MUST be prepared to pay for a new DBS to be considered for work at this site.
Pay is £10 to £12 per hour.
