Student Support Staff (Various Roles) - FE College - West London - London - West - Role: SEN TA Jobs
A large further education college in West London is currently looking for student support staff to work with their students who have additional learning needs. They have a variety of roles available as per below:
- PMLD Support Staff: You will be working with students who have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), most of whom will be wheelchair users. Relevant manual handling training is therefore required.
- Epilepsy Support Staff: Working with students who are epileptic, you should have relevant epilepsy training, including BUCCAL training.
- Safeguarding Officer: Coordinating, monitoring and implementing the safeguarding policy. You will be the first point of contact for any queries from support staff with regards to any safeguarding concerns therefore you must be trained to at least Safeguarding Level 2, or be willing to complete the course.
- Behaviour Management Officer: Coordinating, monitoring and implementing the behaviour management policy. You will be the first point of contact for any queries from support staff with regards to any behaviour management issues therefore you must be experienced in various behaviour management strategies and have experience in this area.
Most roles are Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3pm, and will be for the full academic year. If you have a current DBS on the Update Service, you must also have the "Adults Barred List" checked. If not, a new DBS will have to be processed for you.
