Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Westbury Park - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
A dynamic primary school located in Westbury Park is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working learning support assistant to support students who require 1:1 support. The school provides a nurturing environment.
This role will be 3-5 days a week; you will work alongside the class teacher and the Schools SENCO.
Successful Candidates will ideally hold the following attributes:
" The school is seeking a person with a friendly, can-do attitude
" Knowledge of non-verbal communication such as PECS and Makaton.
" You will need to be adaptable and flexible and, be able to develop good relationships with the children that you are working with
" The school are happy to consider applicants with limited experience, provided that you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
" A passion for working with special needs is essential for this role
" You will be required to work 1:1 supporting pupils working at P Levels.
" You must have an understanding of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities and have a real desire to make a difference
