We are looking for an experienced and skilled primary practitioner to work intensively with a small group of our most vulnerable children, their families and schools. Including teaching, planning, preparation and assessment in relation to the pupils within Specialist Inclusion Support Group.
This post requires the ability to be skilled, organised and flexible in a high pressured environment. We welcome candidates with a strong customer care ethos in supporting schools to meet the needs of vulnerable pupils.
Key skills and requirements
A qualified teacher, educated to degree level with a relevant specialist postgraduate qualification in the areas of learning and/or social emotional and mental health support, you will have:
Significant and successful post qualification mainstream primary experience with up to date knowledge and understanding of SEN effective practice and issues;
The ability to influence and support senior leaders in schools, promoting excellent, evidenced based practice;
The ability to bring staff together into a high performing team;
The experience and expertise to empower families and service users;
The ability to work under pressure, meeting unpredictable deadlines and managing competing demands effectively;
The ability to be part of the 'team around the child', working flexibly, to develop and share creative approaches, positively influencing the practice of others through training and coaching.
This is a long term role that could als be a permanent position
