Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities in a nurturing and inclusive environment? We're looking for compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Special Needs Teaching Assistant at a SEND school in Croydon. • Term time only (8:30am-3:30pm) • Pay rate - £14.38 per hour • Starting ASAP until end of academic year Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, and other various additional needs • Assist in managing challenging behaviours and implementing behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment. • Support students with personal care tasks, such as toileting and hygiene, in a respectful and dignified manner. • Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to implement individualized education plans and provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of each student. • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.
