Attention all teaching assistants and support workers!
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and devoted SEND TA or support worker to join the team at a charming special school located in Westernham.
My client is a SEND school specialising in the provision of education for children and young people aged 4-19 years, who experience physical disabilities or complex medical needs.
Their school is especially passionate about the quality of education and care they deliver for their students. They have a large site with a dedicated staff team of over 200, who provide specialist teaching, social care, therapies and nursing care to an exceptionally high standard.
The school offers both day and residential boarding places, and pride themselves on providing every young person with a key worker, who provides support tailored to each student's individual needs whilst building a close and trusted working relationship.
Several positions are currently available, offering the flexibility for you to find the perfect role to suit your needs! Full or part time; both day and night shifts available. The earliest shift begins at 7am and the latest finish is 10pm.
Key selection criteria:
*Experience as a teaching assistant/support worker in the SEND sector
*Own transport preferred, the school is easily accessible by car or bicycle
*Willingness to undertake manual handling and personal care tasks
*Knowledge of physical disabilities and complex medical needs is advantageous
*Manual handling training will be provided prior to commencement
