Axcis Education are looking for hard working individuals who have experience of supporting young people or adults with SEND needs, to help support pupils with additional needs in a school environment. You don't need to have qualifications, but experience is absolutely essential. You must also be able to work the school hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm. THE ROLE: You will be supporting pupils who have additional needs to ensure that they are receiving the support they require to achieve their full potential and thrive in a more positive learning journey as they deserve. The needs of the children/young people vary from child to child, so we will always make sure you're teamed up with pupils who would benefit from your area of personal previous experience. THE SCHOOL: We have a number of schools who have pupils with additional needs that require people like you to help them. We work with both mainstream provisions, colleges, secondaries, and primaries, as well as Specialist SEND Provisions that cater specifically to those with more complex needs and/or disabilities. YOU WILL: - Have experience of supporting adults or young people with SEND needs. - Be able to commit to working a full school day schedule from 8:30am to 4:00pm latest - Have a DBS on the update service or in date, OR be in a position to process a new one. - Have an Overseas Police Check (only if worked or lived abroad in the last 5 years).
