SEN Teacher, Literacy and Numeracy Support, Term 4 | Wiltshire | Primary Teacher Jobs
A lovely SEN school near Trowbridge requires an experienced generalist SEN Teacher.
The ideal SEN Teacher will have experience teaching pupils affected with ASC (autism and Asperger's) across the KS2- KS4 age ranges. Many of the students require individual support and there is a high ratio of staff to students across the school. Students do display challenging behaviour, therefore the ideal SEN Teacher must have experience developing and implementing behavioural strategies.
The school are looking for a SEN Teacher to support students with basic skills in literacy and numeracy. Those with additional subject specialisms, such as Science, will be at an advantage. Although the school are looking for a Secondary Teacher, those with experience working with students at Primary level will not be at a disadvantage, as many students will need to work at a primary level.
This is a Part Time role (3 days a week) and you must have QTS and current CRBD/DBS (or be willing to have one processed by Axcis) to apply.
