SEMH TA, Mainstream Inclusion Centre, North Bristol - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
Axcis are currently seeking a dedicated teaching assistant with knowledge of children experiencing Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and complex difficulties, for an on going position in a mainstream school in North Bristol commencing as soon as possible.
This role will be on a part-time basis with flexibility required, with the opportunity for the right person to become a permanent full-time member of staff.
You will need to have strong proven behaviour and classroom management and mentoring skills as most students will display severe challenging behaviour.
Successful Candidates will ideally hold the following attributes:
" Experience with students in Key Stages 2,3&4
" A comprehensive understanding of SEMH
" A passion for working with complex difficulties and challenging behaviour
" Ability to plan and write schemes of work and monitor the progress of students
" Available to work on a long term basis
