Who our client is: our client is the leading UK charity for people with autism and their families, they have been pioneering new ways to understand and support people with autism, providing residential care and educational provision. The particular setting whom we are recruiting for are based in Brent Knoll, near Highbridge, Somerset.
Who they are looking for: individuals who have a passion to work in an organisation that specialises in autism, supporting autistic adults or children on the autism spectrum live the life they choose.
Successful candidates will be:

o Good listeners, able to report and record information accurately
o Team players, able to work independently with little support as required
o Resilient, able to work proactively with challenging behaviour
o Willing and able to provide personal care to individuals
o Individuals who value diversity, health and safety and are committed to safe working practices
They may also have:
- A personal connection to autism or a desire to work with people with autism
- Real life experience supporting adults with autism in a paid or voluntary capacity.

We are currently seeking flexible agency staff to work at this setting, where working patterns are over a seven day rota with a mixture of mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and bank holidays shifts.
