Residential staff needed for special needs unit in Ealing - starts ASAP | London - West | School Support Staff Jobs
This Ofsted rated 'Good' school offer early years, primary, secondary and sixth form education, to young people on the autism spectrum , moderate learning difficulties, as well as physical disabilities . They also have a residential site.
They offer each child, consistent and reliable support as they know this will help them to learn to the very best of their abilities. They give their residential students a warm and friendly as well as supportive home. Up to 21 children can attend the residential house and are aged between 11 to 19. They have single bedrooms, separate wings for girls and boys although boys and girls can meet freely in shared lounge and dining rooms.
All bedrooms are private but sensitively supervised. There is a warm and welcoming catering kitchen, and their chef is the centre of life there. There is a comfortable living room which has plenty of space for everyone to relax in their own way or watch DVDs. The children travel to school and back on the special minibus and are escorted by school support staff.
The residential unit are now looking for several support staff to work a variety of shifts:
Late shift which is 2pm to 10pm ( Monday to Friday)
Waking night shift which is from 10pm to 8.30am the following morning ( weekends or week days)
Weekend day shifts which is from 8.15am to 4pm.
Pay is between £10 per hour to £13 per hour.
Shifts vary and are flexible.
