Axcis Education are looking to work with Psychology students/graduates who are interested to work as a teaching assistants with SEND pupils. We are looking to work with students or graduates who are keen to work in child psychology, social work or psychotherapy in the future. Axcis education require teaching assistants to work with schools on either a part or full time basis. We can also assist with your placement year as part of your course should you require. We have exciting opportunities working in schools as a SEND teaching assistant. You will be able to build relationships with pupils that need 1-1 support in the classroom. You will support their development, be in communication with the school’s SENCO and build professional relationships with important staff that may be interested in building your career after graduating. You will also work alongside the main teacher following their lesson plans, leading 1-1 activities and following school policies in behaviour management.
