Axcis Education are urgently seeking a Qualified Teacher for a large Sandwell special school. Our client caters for 90 statemented ASD pupils who have communication difficulties and present challenging behaviour. The role is full time starting ASAP and would suite a teacher who has experience of teaching ASD in a mainstream or special needs setting.
The class you will be responsible for has 7 pupils aged 4-5 years with support of 2 teaching assistants. All pupils have autism with additional difficulties so we are seeking a talented teacher who can show resilience, persistence, patience and the desire to make a difference. The school has fantastic on site facilities to improve early development including; Primary specific classrooms, therapy facilities, Innovative IT equipment, Sensory room, Forest Schools facilities and a large outdoor space.

" Daily rate between £100-£150 a day
To apply for this position you must have:
" References to cover the last 2 years with no gaps
" Eligibility to reside in the UK
" A minimum of 6 months recent UK experience
" A proven track record of teaching pupils autism
" Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
" A current DBS
