Primary Teacher needed for outstanding Special school in Lancashire - Lancashire - Role: SEN Teacher Jobs
Are you an experienced SEND primary Teacher that has worked with children with complex special needs?
Axcis are currently working with this vibrant primary special school in Lancashire, who are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher on a full time basis. The school is small but well resourced and has a fantastic atmosphere upon entering the grounds.
The suitable candidate will be teaching children aged 7 to 11 years of age, either in small groups or as a whole class. For this role, you will be expected to provide support, both in and out of class, and also covering some lunch time duties on a rota basis.
A passion for working with special needs is essential for this role and the right candidate will be an inventive and positive Teacher who has a proactive mind and the desire to go above and beyond their duties.
An essential skill for this role is the ability to build positive relationships that help to break down barriers, build self-esteem and challenge disaffection. You must also have an understanding of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities and have a real desire to make a difference.
