Are you a teacher looking to work with SEND students?
Axcis are recruiting for a qualified teacher with experience of working with ASD primary aged pupils who have communication delay in the north Bristol area. This post is based in an ASD unit within a mainstream primary and, for the right candidate, is available for an immediate start.
You will be responsible for a small class and, together with the TA, you will ensure the educational progress and personal development of all pupils. Your well structured lessons will equip pupils with the skills to succeed, building pupils self esteem and confidence.
Successful Candidates will ideally hold the following attributes:
" Flexible- In order to work around the schools requests and needs
" Professional- Always holds a professional manner.
" Confident- Able to take their own initiative in a new setting and when working with new students.
" A patient, caring and adaptable manner to deal with SEND pupils in an education setting
" Experience working with SEND (ideally ASD) Students
" Have experience supporting children 1:1 in a classroom environment
" Be able to remain calm in the face of a challenge
" Team Teach is desirable
