Primary Teacher needed for an ASD School in Frome - Somerset - Role: SEN Teacher Jobs
A welcoming and dynamic SEN school in the Frome area, with a specialism in ASD, are currently seeking a primary trained teacher to join their supportive team.
The successful candidate would be part of the Trail-blazers team, following a Primary based model within a KS3 class. The rationale behind the model is that many of their pupils have anxieties around change and transition; consequently, they respond best to a stable teacher and learning environment. Trail-blazers teachers are responsible for teaching English, Maths, ICT, Art, PSD and Humanities to their group.
The successful candidate with have, a positive 'can-do' attitude and a resilient personality, plus creative and flexible approach to teaching that builds success through challenge, personalization and innovation. An essential skill is the ability build positive relationships that help to break down barriers, build self-esteem and challenge disaffection.
