Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a Primary Classroom Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in the Cullompton area of East Devon This fantastic school uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The school is set in beautiful grounds with outside learning facilities and is well resourced with a fantastic atmosphere upon entering the grounds. Situated in the in East Devon area with a parking on site and with excellent links to public transport the school is easily accessible. The position is for a general class TA as well as some additional 1:1 support with SEND pupils. You may also have to support pupils with literacy and numeracy booster sessions and you will need to have previous experience of working with children as a teaching assistant and ideally you will have supported pupils with SEMH, ASC and ADHD. A trusting, nurturing relationship is important to the pupil along with a compassionate approach. The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND or primary teaching assistant who has worked with children before.
