Occupational Therapist required for SEND school, Southwark | London - SE | School Support Staff Jobs
A lovely secondary school for students affected with ASD is urgently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their busy and dedicated staff team. This is a long term, part time position (2 days a week- flexible), term time only.
The school are looking for an Occupational Therapist, to work across the school. General duties would consist of assessing and writing sensory profiles for pupils and advising the schools leadership team in regard to meeting pupils' sensory needs (strategies, activities, resources etc.). The successful Occupational Therapist would also be required to deliver some staff training from time to time.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a similar setting as well as an depth understanding of ASD and associated behaviours. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. The successful candidate must be registered with the HCPC and have the relevant degree qualification for the role.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
