Job Title: Mental Health Mentor
Axcis Education is currently seeking a Mental Health Mentor to provide invaluable assistance to a Year 8 child currently attending a large mainstream secondary school as part of their SEND provision, located in St Helens. Role: Mental Health Mentor Location: St Helens (Easily accessible via public transport) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Responsibilities: Providing 1:1 support to a child in Key Stages 3 ( Year 8) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Payrate: Between £12.50 and £14.50 per hour based on experience Requirements: -Experience supporting metal health and behavioural needs -Enhanced DBS on the update service - we can support with this if you do not have one already. -Experience supporting children in a classroom setting or similar If you are compassionate, adaptable, and ready to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year.
