We have an SEN teaching assistant job for a qualified teaching assistant with experience of working with Complex needs pupils.

This inclusive vibrant school has a strong SEND team that has a good track record for providing outstanding support to students with specific special educational needs, ensuring they are fully supported within a good working environment. This school is primarily focused towards Complex needs however does have some behavioural needs students.
As part of the schools commitment on inclusion, they are now searching for an experienced Complex needs SEND TA to quickly integrate into a fast passed environment until the end of the academic year.
Role responsibilities :
You will be working with students with a variety of special educational needs including Autism, physical impairments, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties.
You will be expected to provide a mix of one to one and group based support, promoting independent learning and adapting specific resources to accommodate for each individual child's needs.
Ideal candidates will have: previous experience working with children or young people with complex needs within a school based environment. In addition to this you must possess the ability to foster professional and positive relationships with both pupils and faculty alike.
You must exhibit a patient and flexible approach when working with students ensuring that they are fully understanding and supported within classroom lessons. You must have previous experience in peg feeding and changing as this may be required.
