Axcis Education Liverpool is looking for Teaching Assistant within a Special Needs school, various ages based in St Helens to support pupils with Autism/ASD. As a TA you will be supporting children with ASD learning difficulties, you will be supporting the teacher and students with daily routine tasks, class room activities and helping to promote social interaction and independence, whilst demonstrating sensitivity, understanding and patience at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous ASD experience with children of a similar age. Ideally based locally to St Helens or willing to travel. Experience within a special needs school will be an advantage.
This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check, references and compliance by Axcis Education.
