We are currently looking for Qualified Teachers who are experienced in working with children who are visually impaired, there roll would be to:
Instruct students in reading and writing, using magnification equipment and large print material or Braille system
Teach pupils with every day living
May teach Braille to individuals with sight
Arrange field trips to promote experiential learning
Encourage students to participate in verbal and sensory classroom learning experiences
Instruct students in academic subject areas and daily living skills such as hygiene, safety and food preparation.
