We are currently looking for a Speech and Language therapist who can work closely with children and adults who have various levels of speech, language and communication problems. They also work with people who have swallowing difficulties. Therapists assess individual needs before developing individual treatment programme to enable each client to improve as much as possible. Speech and Language therapists usually work as part of a multidisciplinary team along side other health professionals such as doctors, nurses, psychologists physiotherapists and occupational therapists. There tasks would involve:
Assessing communication environments
Monitoring clients progress
Advising careers on treatment
Maintaining notes and reports
Working with others.
